  9.     Daughter: Ikhlas, 27, works on computers in the Oil Ministry
  10.     Son: Falah: 21, studying music at the Baghdad Academy

  12.     All together Mahdi and Shaimaa have 8 children, 5 of them 
  13.     married and living in different houses.

  15.     Married daughter: Alia, 34, elementary school teacher
  16.     Her husband: Abed Ali, 45, works for the Army
  17.     Daughter: Wasan, 19, works in shop at airport
  18.     Daughter: Sahar, 17, studying to be secretary
  19.     Daughter: Hala, 12, student

  29.     Our family spends a lot of time together. There is a lot of 
  30.     solidarity around. The two families visit each other, at the 
  31.     different homes, late in the afternoon, at Friday dinners or for 
  32.     any special celebrations.

  34. 4.    How far do you commute to work or school?
  35.     Wasan and Amira: 15 minutes
  36.     Abed Ali and Alia: 30 minutes
